I've never been one to feel sorry for myself. Even when I was younger and "bad" things would happen, I never asked "why me?" I always figured that bad things happen in everyone's life so why not me? In my personal as well as my professional life this is the number one complaint I consistently hear: that's not fair. But I remember a powerful lesson I learned from some very wise tomatoes that thwarted any possible feelings of self-pity and resentment.
