Life is complex. Married, Single, Divorced, or In-between? Republican or Democrat or neither? The Environment or the Economy? Suburban or Urban? Text Message, Email, Instant Messaging? The List could go on for ever...

In an effort to respond to culture the church has become complex. Websites, buildings, campuses, kidz programs, mission trips, outreach programs. All good stuff but are we really any closer to Jesus? Do we know God any more now than before the programs and the busyness?

Jesus was simple. He loved God with all his heart and he loved people the same. In response to the cultural and religious complexity of his day Jesus had a very simple command...love God and love others. For the next Five weeks we will be exploring the simplicity of Jesus Christ... and, who knows, perhaps we will find life to be simple once again.
