On Thursday evening, the Wethersfield School Board announced that students will return to Wethersfield in full, five days a week, immediately following Spring Break. Monday, March 29th, all students will be invited to return full time with guidelines in place to keep them safe from COVID-19. These guidelines include social distancing, mask wearing, hand sanitizer and limits on the number of students in the cafeteria area. It's a big plan with lots of elements but the most important is student safety and Wethersfield Superintendent Shane Kazubowski along with Heidi Merrick and Kate Rashid, members of the COVID Transition Team that developed the plan for a safe return to full time school, joined WKEI on Friday morning on People to People.
