Dr Cliff Martin, Vice President Chief Medical Officer serving OSF Saint Luke Medical Center, OSF Holy Family Medical Center, and OSF St. Mary Medical Center, joined WKEI for the final time this week before he moves into retirement. Dr Martin discussed the good news from Moderna about the effectiveness of their vaccine and how it works. Dr Martin also talked about what we are beginning to learn about immune response and COVID-19 and we talked about high risk for COVID-19 among the developmentally disabled.
