Girl Scout Troop #4444 has been meeting at Francis Park of late and making note of the history and beauty of the park. What they also noticed was that the park needed some signs. Thus began a new community service project which saw Troop #4444 begin working on 1 sign and grew to include three signs in all dedicated to the history of the Park, the poetry of Beth Day and a special map for those who visit to follow along. Our reporter Jennifer Russell was on hand at the sign dedication on Tuesday night and spoke with the Girl Scouts and Troop Leader Jacque Komnick.
