Pastors are part of God’s design for His Church. He leads men to dedicate their lives to caring for and shepherding other believers, on top of sharing the Gospel with those who are lost. But sometimes we put way too much of our own responsibility as believers on the shoulders of these servants. As Pastor Mark will point out in this teaching, the Church in Thessalonica was doing very well when Paul wrote them this letter and all without a pastor in place. It wasn’t the absence of a pastor that enabled them to do so well, it was the presence of the Holy Spirit in their midst and their submission to Him.
