The Hidden Tax of Rushing Most people don’t have a time problem.
They have a standards problem.
My Dad used to hit me with a line that annoyed me as a kid—and now it’s one of the most profitable lessons I’ve ever learned: “Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time… but there’s always time to go back and fix it?”
If that lands in your chest a little, good.
Because it points to something we all do—at work, at home, in relationships, and even with our own goals. We rush. We half-do it. We ship it.
We tell ourselves we’ll “circle back.” And then we pay.
