This is the 6th summer that I have traveled to a national or state park during the week of my son Jared's anniversary and birthday.
Jared loved the outdoors and we had many memorable trips camping and hiking. Since his death 7 years ago I have used travel to beautiful places as a way of honoring his memory and to create new memories with my daughter and her husband.
