(Trigger Warnings for suicide, self harm, post natal depression, overdose, hospitalisation.)

0n our last episode of season one, I talked to my mum about her experiences with mental health as an individual, a parent and a teacher, what's changed in how society responds to mental illness since she was my age, how her own experiences helped her support me and my sisters with mental illness and advice she'd give to teachers, parents and anyone else supporting young people struggling with their mental health.
