Episode Summary

It has been said that the only thing consistent in this life is change. With change everywhere around us, we need something that doesn’t move – doesn’t change – something or Someone on whom we can depend. And that someone is God. The doctrine of Immutability simply means that God is unchangeable.

Topics We Discussed in this Episode

● [4:34] The doctrine of Immutability simply means that God is unchangeable. God is unchanging in who He is, His being, His purposes, His promises, His character – everything about God is unchanging.

● [7:39] The contrast between being and becoming marks the difference between the Creator and the created.

● [8:59] God is unchanging in both His purposes and His promises.

● [11:48] Does God change his mind?

● [16:41] To answer the question, “Why is this important in my day-to-day life?”, let’s ask the question, “What would it be like if God could change?”.
