Youth Radio is proud to present the 10th annual Moth Project!

The Moth Project is an event where American Studies students at The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship tell personal, true stories under the guidance of English teacher Rachel Bahr. Students started this project in February by studying stories of those who participated in the civil rights movement. Through that exploration they not only learned about the civil rights events, but also how to set up a story arc, construct their own stories, and tell them live (without notes) in front of parents, peers, and teachers.

This year’s Moth Stories were edited by WFHB’s Youth Radio Director Jessie Grubb.
