For the first time in World Baseball Classic history, Team USA will play in the championship game, taking on the undefeated Team Puerto Rico on Wednesday. Seth Lugo will take the hill for Puerto Rico, and Toronto Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman is expected to start for the U.S. Thus far, Puerto Rico is a perfect 7-0 during the tournament. One of those wins came against Team USA. Puerto Rico narrowly walked away with a win, picking up a 6-5 victory during the second round of tournament play. However, that result won’t matter going into Wednesday. The championship game is a winner-take-all affair, so everything will be on the line when the two teams get together for what promises to be an exciting rematch.
