The project aims at fighting sepsis and antimicrobial resistance with a fast and automated diagnostics system, based on a culture-free/label-free comprehensive microbial identification. Through faster pathogen identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) combined with an early warning classifier system, this solution would allow for faster and more accurate diagnosis, in turn reducing mortality and morbidity related to sepsis and antimicrobial resistance.
