The operation will support the modernization of forestry sector in Moldova during 2024-2028 through investments focused on enhancing forest governance and regulatory framework, strengthening institutional capacities, infrastructure and equipment base, strengthening the production capacity of forest reproductive material and restoration and rehabilitation of about 63,000 ha degraded lands and forests.
