Honolulu police and military officials responded to a possible grenade found at Bellows Beach on Thursday morning.

According to police officers on the scene, someone reported finding a grenade, but upon further inspection it turned out to not be anything explosive.

Authorities had closed the entrance and exit of the beach around 7:50 a.m. due to the investigation.
