"It really changes you; I don’t relate much to the JM of three years ago", describes Formula 2 racing driver Juan Manuel Correa. In 2019, Juan Manuel, JM, was involved in a serious crash at the Spa track with Antoine Hubert. JM had serious injuries to both his legs, back and spine, and unfortunately Hubert lost his life.Back in the car within months, and having returned to F2 in 2023, JM has realised this wasn’t just a physical recovery, but emotional and mental too. Rock bottom is liberating, but after the accident JM understood that even at your lowest there is always something to live for. His approach to life, and perspectives changed, and what truly makes him happy. So, how do we move forward after what we’ve been through?
