Simon Holmes à Court told us a story from his childhood that sounds a bit like a superhero origin story: ”I’ve been interested in electricity for a very long time — some would say obsessed. When I was two-and-a-half years old I stuck a key into a powerpoint. I fried my index finger and have a skin graft to remind me of it daily.” It felt like he could’ve gone onto say, and that is where I got my superpower of being able to clearly explain complex matters about renewable energy.Simon takes us through the pros and pros of shifting, on scale, to renewable energy.
