We learn in this session that Jesus is life.
We know from this lesson that Jesus can do all things.
In this story Jesus was told that a friend was in need of him to come, but Jesus tarried and the person died.
The family of the dead man was not happy that Jesus didn't come sooner.
But Jesus shows them that he has power over death.
He raised Lazarus to show everyone that death was under his power.
Later Jesus would raise himself up out of the tomb and return to Heaven where he waits for GOD to give him the notice to come bring us home to be with him, forever.
