Emily and Bizz chat about becoming less for the holidays. Find your hygge Christmas!

Zero Waste Gifts:

Honing down your gift list, gift games so everyone only buys one gift, homemade gifts, thrifted gifts, gifts of experience, donations to charities, bar soap, baking, bring TP (preferably plastic-free, but it's something most people use anyway) to your next white elephant gift exchange (it also makes for a large gift and a good laugh).

Zero Waste Decorations:

Minimalism, popcorn strings, dried orange slices, cinnamon stick snowflakes, reusable and high quality/durability, pine bough wreaths and garland.

Zero Waste Trees:

Which is better, real or artificial? Reuse your artificial tree for as long as possible. Compost your real tree.

Zero Waste Gift Wrapping:

Gift bags (if you reuse them over and over), newspaper, save any paper bags you get, furoshiki.

Zero Waste Traditions:

Tree hunting, feasts, board games, candy cane lane and other lights displays, advent calendars with homemade chocolate.
