The solar foundation is taking shape, John and his crew are drilling support poles into the South Pasture. I think they’ll be here much of the day. In a week or two, crews will come to install our solar panels.

The electric company says we will probably have no electric bills to pay until October. The house will draw energy from the panels, but the electric grid will still provide backup it’s rainy or too cloudy and the solar energy isn’t enough.
