This Week's 30 minute Program of Praise, Prayer and Worship
DEVOTION OF PRAISE - Week of 4/05/2009
Reading from Psalm 63 "Because Your Love is better than life, my lips will glorify You. I will Praise You as long as I live! And in Your Name, I will lift up my hands."
HERE WE ARE (Rob Krabbe)
The LORD is our strength and our song in whom we delight.
Give glory and honor to the LORD.
The LORD is worth of all praise.
Worship Him! The Maker of life!
MAKER OF LIFE (Jessica Cole and Everlasting Arms)
*LORD You are worthy of all praise. So we lay down our lives. We lay down our pride. We give you our hearts. You are the maker of life!
All around the throne heaven sings the song of God's glory, His honor and His power. The one who always was, who is and is to come! He's full of glory, honor and power. Holy Holy Holy is the LORD!*
ALL AROUND YOUR THRONE - (Elemen Authument)
Holy is the LORD. Jesus is holy. Glory unto God!
Today we are lifting up family and relationship needs in prayer. During htis next song ask the LORD to place someone on your heart. Ask that God will use you to intercede on the behalf of someone in need. Our time of special prayer is coming up right after this next song!
I JUST LOVE WORSHIPING YOU
Special Prayer Time.
You know someone that needs healing in relationships. Pray for that person by name today!

*Devotional Thought for this week…
There is an old song - perhaps you've heard it - with these words...
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His Wonderful Face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His Glory and Grace
Worship re-calibrates our priorities doesn't it? What really is important? What do I really need? God gives me everything I need and more! He forgives my sin... He has sent his own Holy Spirit to live within me... He puts peace and love and kindness into my heart...
In 2 Peter Chapter 1 we are told that God's divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.. Through His glory and goodness, God has given us his very great and precious promises! Through these great and precious promises, we participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
God's divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness. . .
All of that has come to us because we know the One who chose us.
God chose us because of his own glory and goodness.
God has given us his very great and valuable promises.
He gave us these promises so we can share in his nature. His own Holy Spirit lives within us!
God also gave us these promises so we can honor him by living a holy life - a life that seeks to honor and glorify Him.
When I turn my eyes upon Jesus - and meditate upon what great and precious promises he has given me... the things of earth fade in to their rightful place of dim background... Nothing can compare to the Glory and Grace of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...*
*You are all I need Jesus.
You are the beginning and ending of everything.
You are all I need.
Thank you for sharing this time of Praise, Prayer and Worship with me.
Special thanks to STEPHENIE LAURENCE, ROB KRABBE, RICHARD SWAN, ELMEN AUTHUMENT AND PHIL CHRISTENSON for the music of Praise and Devotion.
Until next week, remember Colossians 3 encourages us to "set our hearts and minds on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God."
Have a wonderful week!
Your friend in Christ,
