Biden has proposed a collection of measures intended to help peoplewho rent their homes and have trouble affording the expense.I am not able to evaluate it, but I suspect (as do others) that it isnot enough to solve the problem. I think we need to build a lot morehousing, dense enough to make mass transit efficient. That will takeyears, so it is better if we get started now and push it hard.Reportedly some big corporations that have bought up millions ofrental units are content with the proposal -- which suggestsit is insufficient.
