Olympic games tend to spread permanent increases in surveillance andrepression wherever they go. The next victim will be Paris.I've urged the citizens of cities in more-or-less-free countries todefeat those cities' Olympic bids. In addition to repressionand surveillance,they tend to crush poor peopleand especially homeless people,and transfer a lot of public money to big companies.
