Senator Scott has modified his drastic proposal to cancel each federallaw after 5 years, exempting Social Security, Medicare, and the wholemilitary budget. It would still cancel many other crucial federal programs if theRepublicans could block them from being passed again, so it wouldstill be a disaster. Consider the Voting Rights Act (what the SupremeCourt has not gutted).
