This is an especially sweet one from the Fender Custom Shop. It feels surprisingly close to an actual Jazz bass from the 60s, without the, umm, "issues" that usually come along with those wonderful (but OLD!!) instruments. It's currently wearing Tomastik-Infeld flatwound strings. The pickguard is made from the original material that Fender used back in the 60s, so it has depth and is more richly-colored than the dead plastic they use now. (Please note though...
