So I just put some brand-new nanoweb Elixirs on my new Sire P5R a week or so ago, and I have to say... I think they sound really bad. All the reviews for these strings are wildly positive, so I'm kind of wondering if it's just me, but either way I wanted to put my opinion out there.

To me they sound like a sonic no-man's land between flats and rounds. Too dull and lacking character of good rounds, but without the pleasant mellowness from flats either. Just kind of... the worst of both...
