I know there are more threads about HPFs than you can shake a stick at, and I haven't been able to find an answer to my specific question.

Amp is Crest Prolite 3, Preamp is Ampeg SVT-IIp, connected via 1/4". I am running the HPF because I would occasionally send the amp into protect mode with no filtering. The Crest HPF is set at 100hz. I do realize this is high.

My question is what effect the fact that it is a 4th order HPF has on the equation. With 100hz being high, I am probably looking...
