Haven’t used speakons in years but my new Ampeg V7 requires them. Gone are the combo jacks they used in other models. But apparently I forgot how they work, and I can’t get them in either jack on the V7. I push them in till they stop, then I give them a clockwise turn, and they don’t move.

The cables are Gator Cableworks, and an old one I found today didn’t work, either. So what’s the secret trick I’m missing?
