I just left the Guitar Center isle at Walmart. The basses (both of them) are in a locked cabinet, so I couldn't play either. It was a Wednesday and this particular Walmart only has human employees on Monday. I was hoping they would have the new Fender Professional VIII 4 string but sadly, they only had a Kaylor Kelce signature model and a Great Value P bass. I wanted to see if the new Fender innovations were worth the new $8,600 price tag. I hear the one bolt neck joint and new colors...
