I wanted a bass with these pickups as a Swiss Army Knife because ADHD. so I broke my scale and range rules only to find myself pleasantly surprised by how fast the neck and short the reach are on this bass. I was astonished to be pulling off stretches I thought I could only do on short or medium necks. still, the B string—so much definition!—is just a thumb rest in my hands 99% of the time.
