I still have my first bass from the 80’s, a JB Player p-bass, with a great neck and quite decent tone. Since then, I have acquired two more, both at under $100. While many have disparaged JB Player basses (yes, even here on TalkBass), maybe I’ve just gotten lucky, or I’m easily pleased.
