I’m looking to buy my first bass. I just sold a few guitars and thought about jumping in to fender custom shop but think I’ll dial back and go with an ultra (I know it’s a lot for a starter but I have the funds and know if it’s nicer I’ll play more).

As I look more closely at ultras I’m now stumped between the Jazz and Precision versions. Can someone educate me on what the difference between the two ultra versions are? Only looking for a 4-string.
