Hello. Right now, I am looking for a reliable studio/producer bass that will "work" in many different genres but mainly in disco/funk/pop. I found a StingRay from 2006 that I like the sound and feel of. I understand that the bass has active pickups and a 3-band eq which is not what the disco legends from the late 70's played on.
