Hey!! I was mainly wondering about the fingerboard lifespan of fretless. I know there is a lot that plays a part in getting that answer. In my case I’m playing an Ibanez SRF706 that has a panga panga fingerboard, I use flatwounds, and I am beyond gentle with my instruments. When it comes to actually playing the instrument, I don’t play aggressive whatsoever, but I definitely wouldn’t say I play super soft either, just pretty standard.
