Hey ya'll, I'm looking to diagnose a potential problem with a bass I'm thinking of getting.

This is the back of a Cort GB Modern 5:

When I see something like this, I normally think that it's a finish crack.

But this particular bass has a Polyurethane Matte (Open pore) finish.

So this "seems" like it could actually be a structural issue where the body itself is cracked from the neck pocket to the screw, but I'm definitely no expert in musical instrument repair work, so...
