I'm not new to bass playing, but I'm new to these forums.

The problem:
I have a used Euro-LX 4-string. Don't get me wrong, I friggin love this bass, even more so than my 5-string Thumb. But I friggin HATE the tonepump. I hate it so much that if it were a person I'd run it over with a semi-truck filled with EMG, Seymour Duncan, Bartolini, and Aguilar electronics.
