Just got this yesterday. I must say I'm VERY impressed. I've owned 2 MM Rays and currently own a Ray 4 (with mods) and a Ray 34. It's been years since I had the MM's but I do recall they were both really well made although the fretless lacked character. This Ray 2 is a better build than the other two I currently own. Fit and finish is excellent. 10th fret on the "G" string needed to be tapped down but nothing major, and also commonplace, IME, on basses costing far more as well. A slight teak...
