Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of John 8:12 which says "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

"We talk about the ups and the downs. But if we started to rearrange the way we speak, I think it could have a powerful outcome.

Instead of saying “this is a dark season” we can remember that we never have to walk in darkness. So instead we can say “this is a tough season, but there is always the light of our life to hold onto - the light of our life being Jesus.

I know, I know singlehandedly how hard it is to look at situations and say, Jesus where are you? But can I promise you one thing? He is there.

I am not a Pastor, I am far from perfect, I can’t speak on a lot of things, but I can always give you one promise, and that is that Jesus is closer than your very breath. You can run straight into Him. You never have to walk alone, the light of your life is right there he wants to guide you, lead you, help you. He knows what’s best for you."
