Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Genesis 4:9 which says " Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”
"This is a reminder that one mad decision, leads to other bad decisions quickly. When God approached him he has the chance to confess and plead and ask for forgiveness, instead he gave him sass, as if God didn’t already know what had happened.
Many times we can behave like that. We give God sass. Sass that he does not deserve, sass that is really a waste of breath because we know that God already knows what we did.
We have to remember to confess our sins, we have to let them go, we have to surrender them to Him. He is the only one that can help us in troubling times. "
