Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Psalm 119:28 which says "28 My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word."
"We all have those days. The “I am just tired” days. The “I don’t want to keep doing this” kind of days. I know, doing the same kind of work day in and day out can get exhausting. Doing something without seeing a result can get tiring.
It is so important that we take rest and refuge in God. It is so important that we make Him our strength. This verse says “My soul is weary with sorrow” and we can all relate to this on so many different levels.
Maybe your soul is weary because of your job, because of your kids, because of your business, because of your dreams, because of your health, because of what is going on at home, because of your relationships.
There are so many different things that can get us to the point of exhaustion, but the answer is always the same… Strength me according to your word.
There is a word for anything you are going through. Lacking confidence? God is the source of your confidence. Lacking health? The Lord is a healer. Lacking ambitious? Let all you do be done onto God. We can find scripture verses to help walk us through any season.
So think about it, what gets your weary? What ever it is I have good news for you, Jesus can strengthen you according to His word. "
