Matthew Layton presents Studio 1 – Vision Australia Radio’s weekly look at life from a low vision and blind point of view.

This week…

Matthew speaks to Rachael Leahcar - the young musician who sung her way into the nation’s hearts on the first series of The Voice Australia - about life as a musician in lockdown and as a full time student with a vision impairment.

Vision Australia’s Joy King joins Matthew to talk about Vision Australia 2021 Bursary scheme, which helps students with vision impairments to get their hands on accessible technology.

And we have our regular appointment with the show’s Mental Health and Safety Manager Tammey Candeloro. Not only is she an Australian registered, Lifeline certified counsellor, she’s legally blind, so she gets where you’re coming from.
