Matthew Layton presents Studio 1 – Vision Australia’s weekly look at life in Australia from a low vision and blind point of view.
This week, the first of a series of shows in which Matthew checks in on people with a vision impairment to see how they’re coping with self isolation.
His first guest/victim is Jess Gallagher - the only Australian to have medalled at both Summer and Winter Paralympic Games.
Jess talks about her feelings on the postponement of Tokyo 2020 and how this affects her training regime and daily life.
But Jess is also a qualified and practicing osteopath, so she has some ractical tips for low vision and blind people to keep limber during these troubled tmes.
