Matthew 18:15-17, 21-22

If someone hurts us, God teaches us to go straight to them, not to gossip or plot revenge. We are also encouraged to forgive. Forgiveness isn't intended to absolve someone of consequences, but to release us from the burden of the hurt inflicted upon us.
