Jen Levy, Founder of City Greens is an advocate for vertical farming and providing locally grown, fresh produce to the community. She spent two years working at Lettuce Heads Farm in Wellington, Ohio, gaining hands-on experience with aquaponics, while simultaneously working to provide safe water access to people in need as Manager of Education Programs at the non-profit Drink Local. Drink Tap. She moved on to serve as Farm and Education Manager at Ekar Farm and Community Garden in Denver where she gained the skills to successfully run a farm.
