Rita Kampalath is the Acting Chief Sustainability Officer for the County of Los Angeles.
In her role, she supports the development and implementation of the Countyโs first sustainability plan as well as providing policy support for other County sustainability-related initiatives. Prior to joining the County, she was the Science and Policy Director for Heal the Bay and an engineer for Geosyntec Consultants, the Los Angeles Air Force Base and CDM.
