Steven Wynbrandt is the Founder of Wynbrandt Farms, an urban mini-farm that became a gem of urban agriculture in LA.His career includes growing specialty greens for chefs and restaurants, designing custom compost solutions for farmers and land managers to create maximum soil fertility, teaching and consulting worldwide, and making the first and only Demeter Biodynamic certified compost in the US.
In 2019, Steven created The LifeCycler Compost Program for schools and organizations of all kinds to compost 100% of their food waste on their campuses. His programs and teachings transform individuals, organizations, and communities by empowering them to recover and expertly transform their food waste into a remarkable quality of compost that dramatically elevates soil, plant, animal, human, and planet health. It is Stevenโs core belief that composting on campus with sound techniques is the single most important and powerful act that children and school communities can do to respond to climate change and create a healthier world for future generations.
