Up on the hill under darkened skies

Does battle of the self ever reach so high.

The self and the other seek to rule the land

Even as you plead under their commands.

The moon peers below and ticks like a clock

Bright is its glow, but natural it is not.

Fueled by ignorance, hatred, and fear

Only does the self ever see unclear.

To feel is to know the truth abound

To see is to dream while the Earth goes round.
