Point the finger, run from you

hide in musings, slate the truth

mask the pain, and play pretend

close your eyes, and hope it ends

But when you wake there’s no escape

you put it out, and then you wait

hoping for a savior now

to smite the past, and help you out

For all you’ve said and all you’ve done

you must realize, and make amends

time to face reality

face the pain and turn the key

You are the One, your cloud of thoughts

make a choice, control the plot

escape the negativity

and choose to see through eyes of peace

Or ever you are bound to lies

darkened thoughts and ‘wonder why’s’

succumber to the will of hate

for whom the ego dares your fate…

But once you change perception to

see it all, accept the truth

free your mind; find your will…

take the steps to Heaven’s gate

and be the master of your fate.
