Turning pages to the light

For when it’s dark, they’re out of sight

The words were written from a thought

But soon forgotten, to be lost

And yet the books will see the flames

For evil spreads its ignorant reign

Protect the knowledge from the fuel

And wield the words as such a tool

The future seeks to rid the past

Today forgotten, gone at last

Warnings given all throughout

Unless you hear them, you will doubt

Heed the words for they are true

Or all is lost without a clue.
