A soldier is a soldier just the same,

No one better for the role

Than one whose darkness remains,

He fights for his keepers

Of those who’ve imprisoned his soul,

He longs for his escape

But his torment is all he knows,

They tell him who he is

And control him just the same,

He’s lost in the mold

A prisoner in chains,

He commits crimes for thrills

Like a rush through the veins,

But in the end it was his own life

That he had taken, in vain.
